The Frigidaire FPPWFU01 PurePour™ PWF-1 Water Filter is certified to reduce up to 99% of various contaminants, including chlorine taste and odor, particulates (Class I), cysts, lead, mercury, pesticides, insecticides, BPA, asbestos, pharmaceuticals, and more. It meets NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, and 401, ensuring effective filtration for safer and better-tasting water.
It’s recommended to replace the FPPWFU01 filter every 6 months or after filtering approximately 125 gallons of water, whichever comes first. Regular replacement ensures optimal performance and water quality
To install the FPPWFU01 filter:
Push to release the current filter and remove it.
Slide the new filter into the housing and push until it locks into place.
Run water through the dispenser for approximately 3 minutes (or 1.5 gallons) to prime the filter before use. Discard the water.
